7 PIECES FOR BLACK AND WHITE CINEMA

1983

Before directing his major French feature films, Otar Iosseliani created a documentary project for French television (FR3) in 1982 titled “Seven Pieces for Black and White Cinema” (Sept pièces pour cinéma noir et blanc). This film serves as a visual diary, illustrating how the great maestro familiarized himself with a world previously unknown to him.
